After studying drawing and painting techniques 2nd yr students learned about composition and how other artists arrange objects withing a painting. They used this knowledge to design and paint their own painting based on the theme Animals.

5th yr ceramics

After studying the Irish Bronze age section students designed and made ceramic tiles based on artefacts from the period.

After studying the Georgian period 4th yr students designed and made relief clay tiles based on Georgian Architecture

1st year Pottery Birds

Here is a update on how out pottery birds are looking. The students have finished building them and have applied texture. They are now drying and will be fired in the Kiln. We will glaze them after Easter.
