2nd years have veen practicing drawing eyes using white chalk on black paper.

1st year Marbelling

Before the Mid Term break the 1st year class did some Marbelling. Below is a video on how to do Marbelling and some examples of the students work.

Ms.Keogh's 5th Year Still Life Compositions

Ms. Keogh split her class up into 5 small groups at the start of September. She then assigned a variety of themes to them of which they had to work together to decide which to choose. These included "Broken and Fractured"

"Reflections"

"My Childhood"

"Unwrapping"

They each chose a different viewpoint to observe from. They were instructed to explore a variety of mixed media for the assignment which they could then refine later on in the year. 

Lastly they each composed a written response explaining the rationale behind their object selection and how they reflected the theme.
